National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST®)
All products are thoroughly tested and traceable to NIST established standards.
Sensitech has held ISO certification since July 1999 and has expanded its ISO 9001:2008 certification to incorporate elements of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) associated with 21 CFR Part 210 and 211. All Sensitech hardware and software are validated and a detailed Validation Package is available upon request.

Sensitech products conform to the directives established by the European Economic Union and comply with the essential requirements including safety, health, environment, and consumer protection.
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Compliance
All Sensitech devices meet requirements for portable electronic devices (PEDs) operation on-board aircraft relative to electromagnetic interference (EMI) as defined by the FAA Advisory Circular 91-21.1B – RTCA/DO-160 Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment.
Lithium Battery Transportation Approval
All Sensitech devices are compliant with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR; 49 CFR Parts 171-180) and with International Air Transport Association (IATA) / International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Part II of Packaging Instructions 965-970 for lithium ion and lithium metal cells and batteries.
Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Screening Methods Testing
Sensitech has tested and documented that all of our devices withstand cargo screening processes as defined by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Certified Cargo Screening program.
